ABSTRACT
This research aims to promote the individual resilience through the teaching of English as a Foreign Language in kids with social difficulties in the hope of its finding having an influence with the ICBF of Bogotá. This will be achieved by designing an evolving instructional database comprised of needs, interests and motivations of children aged between 8 to 18 year´s, which as aforementioned are based on specific learnings. The instructional database will have a communicative and task-based approach, whereby the objective is to teach English based on a specific child´s social and economic needs and not a generic ´one shoe fits all approach´; therefore, the learning will be meaningful, long-lasting and effective.

Linda iniciativa porque se dirige a una población muy vulnerable para la cual sería fundamental fortalecer su resiliencia. La problemática es compleja pero ustedes pueden aportar desde la vía que lo plantean. A partir de la exposición veo complicado que el estudio sea explicativo pues eso les obligaría a mostrar una relación causa efecto entre por lo menos dos variables que se correlacionan. ¿cómo sería en ese caso?
